   According to The Levi Strauss Co., the denim jacket started around 1900’s. The cowboy, worker, westerner really began to wear denim, because of its durability, and comfort. Old time stars of the silver screen, like John Wayne, Bing Crosby, James Dean, and Steve McQueen really brought the jacket to the public. Denim was rugged, sturdy, and stylish, and now worn by iconic stars. In the early days it was called the “Canadian Tuxedo”. It like the Timberland is an article of clothing that stands out for its quality, durability, style, and history. The Jean Jacket’s coolness has become a wardrobe staple, not a trend. It is worn by so many different types of people with so many different types of styles. The cowboy, the urban, the rocker, the hip hop and pop artists, the worker, the hippie, the rapper, the guy, or the girl. The jean jacket should be in your closet as a staple piece that will stand the test of time.

With a denim jacket you can make any statement you want.  It can be dressed up, dressed down,  or layered.  It is just such a versatile piece that any style can be achieved.  The jean jacket can be worn basically during any season (spring,winter,summer,fall).

I truly have a love for the jean jacket, because it is durable,stylish,adaptable, and versatile.
